We couldn’t have been happier when we chose Farm to Modern to paint the interior of our new house!  We had a very tight window between closing and move-in day and needed to have several rooms painted, prior to the mover’s arrival.  We interviewed 6 other painters.  Some didn’t provide a proposal until almost two weeks later.  Others, after investing the time to meet to discuss the project,  were never heard from again.  Farm to Modern was refreshingly different.  Jack Wilson listened to what we wanted, took, pictures, and asked lots of questions about the end result we hoped to achieve.  Not only did we receive a proposal within two days, as promised, but Jack also made several meaningful suggestions that we had not considered.   His observations and advice were overlooked by all of the other companies.  This attention to detail even in the proposal process, really set Farm to Modern apart.

Jack and his team worked long hours and finished on time.  They were very professional, and reliable. The result was GORGEOUS!  I highly recommend Farm to Modern and will definitely use them again on our next home improvement project!

     We hired Farm to Modern to manage the complete renovation of a neglected 100 year old house.  Jack Wilson was great to work with- he was respectful of our ideas and had a lot of great suggestions to make it the best it could be within a reasonable time frame and budget.

The project involved everything you can imagine from floor to ceiling, walls and windows and everything in between included electrical and plumbing,  Even roofing! Jack found and managed all of the subcontractors.  That in itself is a huge task, to get all the systems in place, but he was on site and “hands on”everyday. All of the carpentry and finish work was done by Jack himself and his helpers including some fine detail work and interior and exterior paint. Farm to Modern brought our vision for that sad old cottage to life.  It truly went from the worst place on the block to a jewel in the neighborhood.

        We chose Farm to Modern to update our fireplace and surrounding built-in bookshelves. Our house was built in 1969 and this part of the house had never been redone. Jack was able to help us add cabinet storage and shelf space and make the space look much more modern and clean all while retaining the original character of the brick fireplace. Throughout the entire project Jack was flexible in dealing with the quirks of our older home and he was always able to give us helpful guidance and creative ideas as we kept having to update and change our plans on this project. He also was great at advising us on how to keep the total cost of the project down.  He was nice and very communicative throughout the entire process which made working with him easy and a great experience. He also liked our cats – bonus points! We look forward to working with him on other home projects in the future.
